Who We Are
Friends of the Berlin Aquatic Center was formed by members of the Berlin community after learning that the pool was in danger of closing for good due to lack of funding for needed repairs and upgrades. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that the BAC remains a vibrant and inclusive hub for community activities. With your support we can continue to improve and expand our facilities, programs and services. Every donation counts-no matter how big or small. Together we can preserve this vital community space for years to come.

Why does the pool need saving?

The Berlin Aquatic Center was opened in 1993. Since then it has been a summer fixture for residents of our city and surrounding areas. However, as with any well-used facility, the wear and tear over the years have taken a toll on the pools infrastructure. The funds needed to complete these repairs and renovations are above and beyond what the city could budget for. These repairs are not only necessary for ensuring the safety and functionality of the pool but also for preserving this community asset for future generations to enjoy.
